I have looked into your work with the printer, and i am impressed.
For my needs i would need a larger one.
Something like 400x400 mm. liftglass, and 300-400 mm lift.
Is that possible with 2 projectors ?
What is the maximum area 2 projectors can cover ?

The 28 x 28cm build area of the VAT (approx 30cm) was designed for use of 2 1080p projectors.

Naturally it depends on the type of the projector and its resolution, also for the lift to go double distance, well you need double the size. I would say that covering an area of 40cm x 40 would be possible with 2 BenQ projectors which are now in the shop since they have a Short Throw lens, 10,000 : 1 contrast and a reasonable light intensity but i cannot say for sure if covering 40cm is possible without trying it (which at this point i cannot afford)

Alternatively you can simply build your part in 2 split parts and combine them later on.

How do you judge the mechanical capacity of the lift ( Z axis )? Will it need reinforcement or will it be able to lift and safely work with 1-2 kg of load ?

Would it be interesting for you, to go into this project ? ( it would be an additional / extended printer to offere for sale ).

Although i don't think that additional power would be needed for the Z axis, since the pitch of the spindle is very high. I still would use a higher power motors (something in the range of 400kg holding torque) Additional mechanical reinforcement won't be necessary since the construction as it is now would be strong enough although i would be willing to try few things.

Definitely would be interested in trying this out as long as there are funds/budget to make it.

Anyway, i would go for new projector(s).
Would it help to use a W6000, witch have mutch extended specs ? ( larger throw, higher contrast, higher brightness etc.)

Yep, a Benq W6000 would definitely be a good candidate for a larger build area.
