Blogs i write are mostly related to OSRC in one way or another, may it be a user manual, tutorial or something interesting for the reader. Since i developed the OSRC system, naturally writing information about it is my main priority. However now and then i do tend to write my own thoughts about other topics, related to technology.
Friend List

Due to the versatile communication options available on-board the Main Unit, it is possible to create friends and list them for sharing Real Time Stick movements, record them, become a Co-Pilot and achieve many other actions with multiple friends at the same time.
Once inside the Friend List menu, a list of all the Friends you have added to your device shall appear. To add a new Friend the Add functions is used. Once triggered, OSRC shall begin searching for available OSRC units within the RF range. Once found, a notification window shall appear, asking both the operator and the remote unit to confirm the connection. Once a connection is established, the list shall be refreshed and the Call Sign of your friend will be displayed. All settings related to the Friends unit will be automatically transferred and stored on-board the operators unit for future use. Deleting a friend can be achieved by activating the Delete function. To select a friend in order to change his/hers settings, the Select function must be triggered.
Friend Settings
Once inside the Friend Settings menu, all options related to the selected friend shall appear.
Refresh Settings
If this option is activated and if the Friend which is selected, is within the RF range, all settings that the remote friend made to the unit shall be automatically transferred and overwrite anything previously stored on the operators unit.
Block
If you do not wish the selected friend to be able to monitor or take-over your controls for any reason, you may choose to block any communication between the units.
Records
Just like the Personal Records, located in the User Settings, a list of all available records, made by the operator through the remote friends system can be viewed and replayed. The list can be edited through the Add, Select, Delete and Edit functions.
Co-Pilot Setup
Through the Co-Pilot setup the operator may define which channels shall be cloned to the remote friend unit. Each channel that is defined, shall inherit all related functions of the operators unit. The system shall add additional channels to the remote friend unit if necessary and give the operator the ability to control additional functions on the model that the remote friend is controlling.
A Great example of this feature is a large and complicated Scale Model, where functions such as Landing Gears, Flaps, Air Brakes and others can be controlled by the operator, while the remote friend is concentrated on flying the model.
